Men and women volunteers make old thrown out bikes , (and seeking handbikes and adaptable hand cranks for wheelchairs),like new ones and send them in fully loaded containers to the poor boys n girls n adults to help them out of poverty(by way of the mobility they provide)as transportation (and exercise)to make possible work for families in cities and the outback here n all over the world

One of my most happiest time was when I got my first bike!
Monies raised will go directly towards BIKES and HANDCRANKS helping ALL AGES TO BE MOBILE AND HELP THEM FIGHT SICKNESS (by way of exercise) and POVERTY N.B. I AM COVERING ALL COSTS TO DO THIS GENUINE CHARITY EVENT,SO EVERY SPONSORED DOLLAR RAISED WILL BE FOR 'BIKES4LIFE' CHARITY AND ONLY 'BIKES4LIFE'

Bikes 4 Life is a not for profit organisation that alleviates poverty and social injustice in Australia and overseas by recycling and restoring discarded bikes. With the simple gift of a bicycle, families can enhance their standard of living dramatically, especially those in marginalised impoverished communities.
Our work has transformed the lives of many families by widening employment opportunities, gaining easier access to remote sources of food and water and ensuring that children are able to regularly attend schools.
It is the mission of Bikes 4 Life to replace the cycle of poverty with a cycle of hope.
